The Pentax Soft 85mm f/2.2 portrait lens was one of the final K series lenses produced by Pentax in 1986 as the KA series of mount gradually replaced the existing K mount lineup of lenses. In addition to a diverse range of focal lengths & lens speeds, Pentax also produced a variety of specialist lenses.
This SMC Pentax Soft 85mm f/2.2 lens is one of a small number of soft focus lenses offered by Pentax throughout its history. The lens gives its softest rendition at f/2.2, & decreases the level of soft diffusion as the lens is stopped down. Unusually, this lens has been converted to Nikon F mount.
The lens is in Excellent cosmetic, Excellent mechanical condition, & Excellent optical condition.
