Leitz has produced the 90mm f/4 Elmar lens from the early 1930s onwards in a number of iterations. Due to the popularity of the faster Summicron & Summilux lenses, the Elmar is often overlooked as a high-quality medium-length portrait lens.
This Leitz Elmar 9cm f/4 lens was produced in 1945 in a black finish, with a chromed collar. The lens is in Good cosmetic condition, with evident signs of wear & tear. The optical condition of this lens is Good, with some light haze present.
